The bible verse Romans 8:39 was influenced me to make the silk banner. This verse was on the congratulation card from my baptismal day. The verse has more special and greater meaning because it will encourages me to cling on God when I struggle with the real world where try so hard to decaying His Grace. This bible verse will remind me that there is nothing can separate me from God. And God is always with me because he will keep me from all harm, danger, and temptation of the world.
Since this bible verse means more than other verses, I try to make banner to represent how God shows love for me. The fish and the cup stand for the suffering of Jesus Christ, his flesh and his blood. The eye on the triangle symbolizes the Triune God-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Those four images characterize that we receive so much thing that I can’t ever do for others. He created us, he sent his only son for our sins, and he became three so that he can be with us always.
I tried to do my best on the designing the banner for my favorite bible verse. I came up with the design that reflect His words as well as it can. Painting the banner is my most preference among the process of making it. I love to show the beauty of color on the silk and using water to gradate the colors. The part of my final projects that I want to improve is definitely outlining my shapes with gutta on the project. I would like to give more attention when my outlining so that the gutta are not stained on my silk cloth.
