Health Related Fitness and Skills Testing

From the entire set of data:

1. Determine the value for N: 21

2. Determine the value for R: 10in

3. Determine the mean: 8in

4. Determine the median 6.5in

5. Determine the mode 6.5in

From the male population data:

1. Determine the value for N:14

2. Determine the value for R:10in

3. Determine the mean: 7.5in

4. Determine the median 6.5in

5. Determine the mode 6.5

From the female population data:

1. Determine the value for N:7

2. Determine the value for R:5in

3. Determine the mean: 8in

4. Determine the median:7.5in

5. Determine the mode 8in

If you administered a health-related fitness test, fully explain your criteria For being in a HFZ.

What specific exercises and/or activities would you recommend for someone to maintain the HFZ and what would you recommend if the person is not in the HFZ?

If you administered a skills test, fully explain your criteria for scoring an A, B, C, D, or F on that test.

The subject would need to average between 1to 3in. in order to receive an (A), 3.1-6in for a (B), 6.1-9in for a (c), 9.1in + is an (F)

What specific exercises and/or activities would you recommend for someone to hopefully improve his/her scores, if they were to be tested again, in a few weeks? I would suggest in playing wall ball bare handed, playing guitar hero on the medium setting or higher.

If you could change anything on the test item that you administered, what change(s) would you make? Be specific and state what is presently used and what you would change it to and why would you make the change(s).

Examples: scoring criteria, #of attempts/trials, etc.

Instead of using a 12in ruler I would use a yard stick b/c most of the subjects do not have quick enough reaction time.

What changes to the process of the test administrations do you think need to be made in order for this assignment to be more successful?

I would make all the same sports go at the same...
