Emirates Airlines in Pakistan follows all the basic functions of Management.
All the strategies are planned by the head quarters in Dubai at the beginning of the year taking into consideration the major goals set by Organization. All the activities are informed to Dubai to check the proceedings towards the plans. The managers are like coordinators/facilitators to their employees. MBO approach is practically followed by the management of Emirates.
Process of decision making in Emirates is very well balanced. It is centralized as well as decentralized. Centralized because of the fact that all the ultimate decisions are taken by Headquarters in Dubai and similarly for any major decisions taken over here in Pakistan should be made known to Dubai. Decentralized in the sense that all the head of the departments has authority and power to take actions within their respective departments.
The environment of the organization is extremely professional with a well-designed & maintained system working efficiently. Each department of the Emirates is well organized with one department under each manager. Each head of the department have his own team, whose duties are assigned according to the significance of their post.
