HERO
A good hero is hard to find. To me a hero is a genuinely good person, a genuinely good person is extremely hard to find. A hero must always think of others first. Without this trait a hero does not do any good because a hero is a person that affects the people around him. A hero is someone that stand up for a group of people or community to help create a better tomorrow for his/her people. The many other people think a hero is a person that is not afraid of anything. In my opinion someone can be a hero by noticing what is going on around them and try to change the problems that are happening. Heroes take the initiative to solve a problem or help someone that is need.
When people think of a hero they think of someone that is not afraid of death or dying. Will Rogers a famous humorist and actor said, “The main thing about being a hero is to know when to die”. Then speaking of heroes the average person thinks is death or the hero not being able to live for a long time. Being a hero in my eyes is not about dying or being afraid to die it is about doing what is needed for the cause.

Federico stood up to crop duster knowing that he might not live much longer after, as he showed the crop duster his middle finger. In the last stanza it shows how Federico had been changed form a skinny boy to a hero that stood up for his people.

laboring after sundown
to cool the burns on his arms
flinging tomatoes
at the cropduster
that hummed like a...
