Transformational processes within a company can cause different repercussions that are not expected. Communication is one of the ways to keep employees from becoming stressed or having whole department’s morale become so detrimental to the entire company. Evidence has shown that by looking at other companies with the same problems and how they solved the problems helps the organization to be able to work with the employees and solve the problems. InterClean needs to solve the problems of morale and stress within the company before the company can become a leader with innovations in their field.
Align organizational structure with strategy
Companies seeking to engage in an effective change process must make efforts to ensure that the organizations structure is aligned with its strategy. This viewpoint is supported by Kaplan (2008) who maintains that companies must “align employees with the strategy through a formal communications process, and by linking employees’ personal objectives and incentives to strategic objectives.” Towards this end, InterClean has determined that the human resource department will be assigned the task of making sure that all business units are aligned to the company’s goal of becoming a premier provider of total cleaning solutions (University of Phoenix, 2003).
