How iPad3 can be used
in Police force’s
Over the past years, the use of tablet computer has undergone dramatic changes; iPad is undoubtedly one of the most popular tablets. As a result many organisations including Police forces have adopted the use of iPad to assist their operating systems. This report aims to identify how iPad3 can be used in Police force to enhance the operational processes focusing on its new features and services. The report will firstly examine how the new features of iPad3 can be applied and advanced police force operating processes. Secondly, how officers are able to use police-centric applications in order to fulfill their tasks and serve the community. Thirdly, cost benefit analysis was conducted to determine if iPad3 is a sound investment.
Through qualitative research enabled us to understand how iPad3 will continue develop intangible benefits through the significant transformation of the operational characteristics and innovative reflection of the police services.
The power of information technologies has brought significant impact on numerous organisations by adapting those advanced technologies to shape their new business strategies. This provides great enhancement to the infrastructure of the organisation, namely lower operating costs, increase capability to respond quickly to customers and at the same time offer local market necessities. According to computer hardware market report (Key Note, 2011), over the past years the success in tablet computer industry has been significant; tablets have overthrown netbooks.
