This being my first day of class I don’t have much to talk about. Frank seems like an enjoyable teacher so I won’t have trouble paying attention. My classmates have quite different personalities but I don’t see this causing any conflict. Oh well not much else to say so I’ll see what we learn next class.
I haven’t gotten my books yet but Frank has provided printed copies so I’ll be fine until I receive my books. Today we talked mostly about grammar in the little brown book, which wasn’t particularly interesting but I did take away a few good points of information from it. One thing I found of interest was the fact that most sentences I write are comma spliced or fused sentences. I haven’t done my homework yet but I should get it done.
I’m excited about this fictional future assignment. I like to do creative writing so I can work out my imagination and see what crazy ideas I can come up with. I don’t know who I’m going to be writing about but whoever it is I hope they like my wacky ideas. I’ll probably write something that has to do with football, even though that’s not too creative to some people I’ll find a way to make it work.
Well I know who my partner is for the fictional future assignment. Her name is Ondrea Gomez. She seems like a nice girl, a little on the quiet side but a nice girl nonetheless. I’m asked her pretty basic questions to work off of, but I really don’t need much other the basics. I’ll take the basics and use it as the skeleton and let my imagination fill in everything else. To be brutally honest I don’t like the idea of having to write this journal every week. It makes me feel like I have to put my thoughts on display each week just for a grade which in a sense is extortion. Oh well it could be worse I could have to write 5 page assignments explaining grammar each week. I’m not hinting towards anything Frank.
Work and my other class have kept me really busy so I haven’t had much time to focus on writing this journal. I want to put a lot...
