With my recent promotion to mid-level management, it has been brought to my attention from upper management that my current team will need to be restructured. The purpose of this restructuring is to revamp current position and create new positions to make the everyday functions for Kudler run more smoothly than they have in the past.
The new positions will be the following:
• General Manager
o Del Mar
• Regional Cheese, Dairy & Wine Specialist
• Customer Service/Cashier Manager
The General Manager oversees the daily operations that take place within their assigned location. This manager is responsible for the training of each employee that directly reports to them, oversees the inventory and purchases of each department. Previous managerial experience required, grocery store experience a plus. This position reports directly to the district manager.
The Regional Cheese, Dairy & Wine Specialist will work with all the Kudler Fine Foods in the area making sure they are stocked with the finest cheeses, wines, and dairy products. This individual will have experience in exotic wines and cheeses, and will bring a variety to Kudler of those products not available in your typical store. They will be responsible for all ordering and inventory for each store in their jurisdiction. This position reports directly to the district manager.
Customer Service/Cashier Manager oversees the “front line” in customer relations. This position is responsible for training all cashiers and customer service representatives. This is an entry level managerial position, therefore only previous cashier &/or customer service experience is required. This managerial position reports directly to the store’s general manager.
