Summer camp left a lot of emotionative and exciting memories. Of cause, there were some troubles. The last week was especially problematic, but let’s think positive.
For introduction I’d like to say that it was a summer camp of “Chebarok”. I was a tutor of the 3rd group. So I want to describe the last day, I mean 24 hours.
The last evening feeling appeared when it had come dark for me personally. You know, the feeling of regret and sorrow mixed with the positive emotions connected with a realization of needs like “home”, “sleep”, “rest”, “quiet” in the nearest future. I think, the rest felt the same. I understood that there were different tones, words, gestures in adults’ speech not to say about children. Some boys from my group asked DJ to present a special “Hi & Song” for me and the 8th group tutor, who was appreciated by them very much. In an answer I congratulated them upon the ending of the 4th term and wished them “Luck”. The end was really happy nevertheless my group promised me a “Super King’s Knight”.
I have to say that they failed. I understand that the following facts are the evidence of non-pedagogical way of treating children and the rude breaking of camp routine, but… In the hour of three the tutors woke the group up, gathered all the sleepy bodies in a play-room for a ceremonial remuneration of active persons with honorary diplomas. The reactions were different. Some guys seemed hadn’t awoke, some children were in shock, the rest didn’t make a move and watched with large eyes. In a moment smiles and applauses proved award-show success. Children’s joy appeared in its height when they were allowed to do everything they wanted during twenty minutes.
