I think martin was one of the greatest men of all times. He inspired a lot of people all over the world. Helped stop segregation all over the world.
Martin Luther King JR was born on January 15 1929 at their family home in Atlanta, Georgia. His birth name was Michael Luther king. He later changed his name to martin. He was the first son and the second child born to Reverend Martin Luther King, Sr. and Alberta Williams King.   His grandfather began his family’s long tenure as a pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
Martin attended a segregated public school in Georgia. He attended yonge elementary at the age of 5 years old before he reached the legal age of 6 years old. They later soon found out about his age and he could no longer attend school until he turned 6 years old. He attended Atlanta university laboratory school and booker t Washington high school. He graduated from high school his junior year at the age of 15 years old. He attended Morehouse University without having a formal graduation. He skipped ninth and fifth grade. In 1948, he graduated from Morehouse College with a B.A. degree in sociology. Martin enrolled in Crozer theological seminary in Chester, Pennsylvania. While attending Crozer he also studied at the University of Pennsylvania. He was the president of his senior class. He also won the peral Plafkner award as the most outstanding student. In 1951 he was awarded bachelor of divinity degree from Crozer. In September of 1951, martin Luther king Jr. began doctoral studies in systematic theology at Boston University. He also studied at Harvard University. He was awarded the Ph.D. Degree on June 5 1955.
He married Coretta Scott, the youngest daughter of Obadiah and Bernice Williamson of Marion, Alabama on June 18, 1953.the ceremony took placed on the lawn of the Scotts home. The Rev. King, Sr. performed the service. They have four children together Yolanda Denise, Martin Luther III, Dexter Scott, and Bernice Albertine.
