My Most Memorable Object

Owing a Bible could open a door to living a more meaning life and could also create a fence to block off hatred and sins. On November 28 2008, I felt like a newborn baby again. I was honored to relive my grandmother’s soul and passion the way she worshiped the lord. The first time I opened a Bible I acknowledged it contains the word of God. Now, when I read   a Bible, I sit back and visualize His word. Before I start my day, I read my Nanny’s Bible and it helps me to think and center myself for the day.
This is not any ordinary Bible because it certainly holds up to 300 pages of descriptive knowledge of life. The looks of the Bible are a perfect rectangle, and has a rusty smell to it.   The appearance of the Bible was a hard cover that is black and leather with 300 silkily white pages with gold lining around the edges. What makes this Bible unique is the protective cover that is a floral color, and the red ribbon that divides right in the middle of the Bible. This Bible weighted about 1 pound because I saved every paper my Nanny kept inside. The meaning of God’s words in this Bible will go on for infinity because the lessons that need to be learned have no time period.
Daily in the morning I have a moment of silence with myself so I can clear my mind for some fresh energy on a wonderful beginning. The way I clear my mind is going over to my long, dark black dresser where my Bible is placed and read the word of God for up to 10 minutes.   I also keep a picture of my Nanny above my Bible, one votive candle on each side of the Bible, and then pay my respects to my Bible. From reading a few pages every morning, I analyze my notes and figure out how I could live my life the right way. From one passage I have read, I learned that “I should always honor my Mother and Father”.
