Managers encounter environmental changes in the course of performing their duties which have sometimes destabilized organizations.. This has necessitated the adoption of the strategic management approach in ensuring organizational continuity, sometimes resulting in changes in the organization. This course seeks to equip the learner with knowledge and skills needed for the successful management of strategic change.
By the end of the course, the learner should be able to:
i. Explain the dynamics of leadership and how they impact on strategic change.
ii. Identify and analyze successes and challenges related to initiating and managing strategic change in organizations.
iii. Explain the linkage between strategy execution and change within the organization.
