A Peachy Visit
As the summer approaches many people being to plan trips. "Where are we going?" and "How are we going to get there?", are some of the
many questions that come to mind when preparing for a trip. I knew that I wanted to travel to a place where I could shop until I dropped, party until I couldn't anymore, and see an attraction that would be mind blowing. Before I knew it, I was on a spur of the moment thirteen hour road trip with my son's father to state best known for its peach,
Georgia! We stayed in "ATL", also known as Atlanta. Atlanta is the hottest city in Georgia, famous for its undergound mall, uncut nightlife and the world's largest aquarium,
"The Georgia Aquarium."
Located in the heart of downtown, just as expected, Underground Atlanta was full of activity. There are steps that take you underground leading to over six blocks of shopping, dining and entertainment. I found everything that I was and wasn't looking for. I was worried about items that I had left back home but they were perfectly replaced by merchandise from the Underground. The mall is very famous for its one of a kind, special souvenirs to take back home to your loved ones. The
Underground features fortune telling, homemade candy and a day club to party during the day. Its dimmed lighting, concrete flooring and wood paneled ceilings contribute to the malls name, "Underground Atlanta." The layout and design reassure the customers that they are shopping underground.
Do you know the saying, "The freaks come out at night!" Well, its true. As soon as nightfall hits, Atlanta is lights, camera and action! Everyone comes out ready to have a great time. The city is well known for its strip clubs. I visited "Magic City", "Body Tap" and "Strokers" just to name a few. The clubs were interesting because they featured dance floors which normally strip clubs don't have. Each club had a full menu of food as well as alcoholic beverages. The girls were really nice and great dancers....
