After reading through the draft one time, write a summary (3–5 sentences) of the paper.
The death penalty is looked upon as a way to pay criminals back for crime that they have committed. The death penalty is a violation of human rights. In 1612 a criminal could be executed for a minor crime such as stealing a grape or killing chickens.
