Frightening Earthquake Obliterates Water?
Our existence and everyday gift derives from our nutrition and energy. Waking up to clean and pure air makes us appreciate the full and healthy life we live in. The citizens of San Leandro are lucky to have disinfected water, despite the conditions other cities may have. Just off one of San Leandro’s main street, you can drive, walk, sprint down and ignore the corporation that provides every citizen their water. On Sundays, my family and I have a traditional Salvadorian breakfast on the very same street the water plant is stationed at. I never noticed the sacredness the building had when I passed by it. Several times a month I would run to Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline, here you could see the buildings and the production of cleansing water. Many of my high school memories originated from Oyster Bay and it fascinated me how my concern for water was so low even as I was consuming it at the very moment. When I spent my evenings running to condition for wrestling, I would sit on a bench that faced San Francisco Bay. Here I would appreciate the simplicity of life and how the miniature waves would crash against the rocks. Never did I imagine that my city took on the duty to clean the water and distribute to the famous city I was looking at. Considering the insufficient water plant conditions other cities have, it is obvious that alterations should be made in order to help the stability of our water source. Paying for the absence of our human right of secure nutrients is what our country advocates, hence we must declare this right.

As soon as the Hayward Fault Nightmare is mentioned, conversations stop and rooms go silent. The stillness drowns the area with worried thoughts of whether our houses will continue to stand or our families continue live.
