In how many ways can slavery be express and utilize in modern day? A few, or rather, more than a handful, but the most unethical form of out of all is sex trafficking, braching from the act and business of human trafficking. Human trafficking is exactly what it is, trafficking in person, where the victims are forced, defrauded, or coerced into labor or sexual exploitation. This include buying, selling, recruiting, providing, obtaining, and moving a person from one location to another for labor or services. Human trafficking does not discriminate, from age, to gender, color, religion, it can happen to anyone. Usually, it is targeted at young women and children. The exploitations of human trafficking are prostitution, forced labors or services, slavery of practices similar to old day slavery, servitude in homes, forced marriage, or the removal of organs without consent or under illegal circumstances.
There are many type of sex trafficking, this includes: prostitution, pornography, stripping, live sex-shows, mail-order brides, military prostitution, or sex tourism. These types of sex trafficking take place on the streets, in the underground systems of closed brothels that operate out of residential homes, massage parlors, spas, and strip clubs.
Under poverty and the hard conditions of life, young women and children are vulnerable to the temptings of traffickers. They give in to the promises of a stable job in a better country, of a happy marriage that eventually turns into fake bondage, of education and a better life. Naïve and optimistic, they follow these traffickers’ words, not knowing that they are digging their own graves. Some get kidnapped, some are forced to repay the debt to the traffickers after they were brought to the new country. The debt being the amount of money it took to transport them to their new land. Children are being sold by parents for money. Females being sold by their boyfriends, and wives by their husbands.
