This report will focus on finding ways to increase the usage of the UNLV Student Recreation & Wellness Center by looking into the organization and finding its strengths and weakness within the organization and finding opportunities to improve the facility & identifying the many threats that effect the organization externally.

History of the UNLV Fitness and Wellness Center business
• In 1975, University of Las Vegas Nevada opened 5 million dollar facility on the north side of the university named after Paul C. McDermott. The facility offers 50 meter indoor pool, two gymnasiums eight handball courts and weight room.
• A group of students in 2003 surveyed a portion of the student population and ask them would they approve a fee that would charge students to build and maintain a new student union and recreation & wellness center. In 2003, the Board of Regents approved a new student facility fee that would pay towards a new Student Union and Student Recreation Center.
• Student Recreation & Wellness Center opened in fall semester of 2007 on the south end of the university near student residence. The structure is four story building and measured at 165,465 sq. feet and the cost was about $55 million to construct the facility.
