The Big Chase
One day during last summer, I was walking through the streets in my way to home after finishing my French class at the French institute. The weather was wonderful and the streets were full of people walking. It was dusk time and the sky looked magnificent because of the blazing sun. This glowing sphere was partially covered by the transparent clouds and, decorated by the beautiful birds cycling in front of it. All these scenes together, created an incredible painting drawn by the hands of an outstanding artist. As I was walking home at sunset, I could feel a shadow lurk behind me. Actually it was not the shadow caused by the blocking of light; rather, it was a strange man chasing me.
At first I was walking between people normally without any problems. In the crowd, I was able to see a man walking after me just like a shadow. However, I thought that our way was the same but, as roads became gradually empty, it was visible that he was behind me. I tried to ignore at the beginning but, I felt annoyed. I decided to turn around and bravely ask him what he wanted from me but, when I stared at his face I felt like I have seen him before. I did not ask him and I started thinking where did I see him. Suddenly I remembered that last week, a big crime happened near my house. I was walking in the streets and, when I passed one of the corners I saw a man killing a leady. At one second he turned his face and looked at me with terrible glance full of hate; therefore, he is following me now to kill me and hide his crime. At that moment of surprise I only thought about running.
At the beginning of the chase I did not attract the murderer attention so walked normally. As I got into the crowded streets I started running. The criminal was so fast and clever that, he did not lose me. I did not want to go to a police station because, he will run away and come to find me later. I was approaching my house but, I did not decide to hide there. I remembered a better place...
