Training and Mentoring
The goal of our Training and Mentoring Program is to prepare and equip our new sales team to become one in the knowledge and sales of our new cleaning solutions. InterClean and Envirotech have just merged to provide a competitive advantage in the cleaning solutions industries. We will continue to sell our cleaning products in the health care industry while providing full service solutions packages as well. The employees coming from EnviroTech will have to learn and relearn what is expected of them when they merge with the employees at InterClean. Both sets of employees will have to take some training classes in their new job roles as they change what is expected of them as we go through this merger. This may not be an easy transition without some Management or Human Resource Personnel help but we are prepared to provide all the training and help that is needed.
In some businesses, new employee training is not addressed as much as it should be. The first impression an employee has with the company is a lasting one. It could affect the way they do their work and how they relate to other coworkers on the job. They may feel insecure and uncomfortable, in their first few days or weeks, if management or Human Resource personnel do not help them from the beginning. “To maximize the impact of orientation, it is important to recognize that new employees need specific information in three major areas: (1) company standards, traditions, and policies; (2) social behavior; and (3) technical aspects of the job.” (Cascio, 2005, p. 317). We can do this in two parts. The first one can be done in the beginning by the company which can include company policies, company history, any product brochures, and company benefits.
